We started in March 1990 in a small area at the back of Guthrie Bowron in Henderson (the loading bay).  Just enough room to swing a cat!  After 9 months we moved into the shop next door (it had been a furniture store).

We had been mostly dealing with the trade users, however we realized the need for a retail D.I.Y. shop also in the area and set up the shop for this also.

About 1996 we took over an area of the Guthrie Bowron shop next door when they re modernised their shop.  This gave us a good are for display.

Throughout this time we always had a rep on the road in a van with stock so as to bring out service directly to the trade users.  We had also been building up a specialized business in matching colours and filling spray cans for Industry & D.I.Y.

On 1st April 2001 we shifted our shop to new premises at 159 Central Park Drive, Henderson.  It is double the area of the previous shop.

We set up the business as we could see a gap in the Western area of Auckland for an automotive paint outlet.
